Have time stamps that autocharge for 1/4 day hospitalization for every time stamp that the patient surpasses in the hospital.  For instance, 1/4 day hospitalization at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm.  If patient is "hospitalized" through all of those time stamps, then a full day of hospitalization is charged.  ( 4 x 1/4 ) lets say however, that he arrived at 9am, received fluid and went home at 8pm.  then that patient would get charged for 3/4 of a hospitalization.
