Steps to reproduce from customer: anesthesia timer is tacking on extra time once the sheet is finalized. As a result, we are overcharging our clients. the client did some investigating and realized that although the timer initially starts at the time of induction, once finalized it is backtracking to the time of initial injection, i.e. pre-med. The clinic does not want to charge their clients for the waiting period between pre-med and induction. The clinic also does not want to have to figure out the deduction based on what time we induced.
They have provided an anesthesia sheets (see atached) that demonstrates the issue. This patient "Alex" was only under general anesthesia for 2 hours and 10 minutes (from 11:00am to 1:10pm). But when the sheet was finalized the anesthesia timer shows 3 hours and 51 minutes because it included the time going back to the Cerenia injection at 9:28am. The client was overcharged 2 hours of anesthesia!
