IV Catheters (Remove and Replace by timelimit is outdated)

Please Please Please remove the "your catheter is 72 hours old... please consider changing it" statement.

Current guidelines do not support this model. Instead, daily maintenance, and remove and replace AS NEEDED. I would rather see a note come up reminding about daily, or even better, a user option to set catheter care to facility standards. Happy to supply literature supporting this. As an educator, who has been trying to implement AS Needed rule for many years, having smartflow spread outdated info is difficult to work with :)

    Please change to a check/change catheter bandage daily instead is my recommendation!
