As you all know many meds are given several times daily. For those that have SFS integrated with their practice management software as we do with ezyVet the act of typing anything in the treatment box charges for the treatment by sending it backwards into the invoice, in the software.

The problem that arises with this system is when you are using a box, tube or vial of med that you only want to dispense ONCE to the client; if that med is given TID using the same box, tube or vial certainly you don't want to charge them for a new box, tube or vial each time you type something in the treatment box but it would.

It would be incredibly helpful if you had the ability to schedule a medication for several times each day yet also be able to schedule it in the settings for only one of those treatments to charge for the box, tube or vial.
For example: Pet is to get an eye medication TID so I have scheduled it at 8am, 4pm and midnight using the same tube but have also set it to charge the client for the tube one time only at 8am.
But aren't they having a tech give the meds for free the other two times? nope...Hospitalizations charges would cover the cost of the time and staff it takes to do so.
