Here's a new suggestion by Anjanette Cabeza from Doral Centre Animal Hospital (DCAH) :

"Often when we are doing a surgery, a pet's HR may go low or the BP drops and then we have to take action to correct the problem. If there was ever a surgical case that went to court, there would be no documentation of how the staff took corrective action to show they were paying attention to the case and actively making changes. It would be nice to be able to indicate changes in Isoflurane level, addition of drugs, adding heating elements, etc and exactly what time those items were done in relationship to the parapets so it will correlate with how the parameters changed."
