When we are changing fluid orders on smarflow to a new fluid administration rate, we typically discontinue the original fluid line and start a new line. This is cumbersome when there are numerous additives in the fluids (such as KCl, metoclopramide, dextrose, etc) and we have to re-input these additives when creating a new line. What we would like is an ability to copy the existing fluid orders to a new line so that we can edit the existing orders in the new line and then discontinue the original orders to properly document the changes in treatment orders.
