I have used smart flow at two different hospitals not and the problem is the same at both places. Technicians adjust treatment times for convenience (e.g. all PO meds lined up including sucralfate when they were staggered) or accidentally double up on meds when scrolling edit mode etc and there is no way to track who made these changes. In my ideal program the DVM creates the treatment sheet and then the meds, times etc are locked and can only be changed by users with certain permissions.
Hi there,
Thanks for submitting this idea! I can see that your practice utilizes our User Security feature on the iPads where each staff member verifies their identity with their 4 digit passcode. This is great news as we are able to track every action each staff member is performing! We are currently developing an Audit Logs page where Managers will be able to view these logs and see who did what and when.
I can however see that most of your staff have the Doctor level of permission which gives them full editing access on the Flowsheet. You may wish to restrict these permissions so that only DVMs can edit items within the Flowsheet. Learn more about the different roles and permissions here.
Kind regards,
