Default audible alarm bell on web

Is there a way to deactivate the default for the alarm bell to be ON when you open Smartflow in a web browser? We have multiple doctors and multiple computers in a large clinic. Invariably someone walks into the office and opens Smartflow in a new window, then walks out of the room to do something... leaving the rest of the doctors searching for which computer is beeping intermittently into perpetuity.
