In our hospital and many 24-7 hospitals that do ER and Critical Care, when we are running CRI's we always dilute the drug in a way that is different for each patient such that it is run at a rate that corresponds to the CRI dose. For example, we always dilute norepinephrine such that for any given patient, 1 mL/hr = 1 mcg/kg/min. This is a matter of simple math and it would be awesome to include this as an option for CRI's in SmartFlow. Our surgery department does the same for Fentanyl CRI's. Any ER or critical care vet can help you with the math involved or you can feel free to contact me directly. Thanks!
