Ability to change templates without disabling existing medications

We work ER and switch from triage templates to hospitalized templates after intake. It is very frustrating to have to re-enable medications or fluids when you change templates and any meds that are not initialed will just go away completely. It would be great to either have an option for the change or the original meds to just stay in place.
