If someone changes the weight in the patient info screen, it would be useful to have a pop up warning if someone is entering a new weight that is a significant percentage different, such as 20%. This warning should display whether the user chose to update the medication and fluid dosages or not. This would help in the case of mistyping or entering the new weight of a patient on the wrong flowsheet.
The main reason is for safety. If someone inadvertently changes the weight significantly and then updates the medication calculation, you risk overdosing or underdosing a medication. This warning would not apply if the original weight was zero (no weight entered)
