We know that we should leave SFS open on our iPads when we plug them up to charge so that patient data will continue to update.  This way the iPad doesn't take forever to resync when it is charged and goes back into action and is ready to roll in the event of an internet or power outage.

However - when the iPad is plugged up and SFS is open, it's not possible to see whether the iPad has finished charging.  It's also not really possible to see how much charge is left until the 20% & 10% warnings pop up on our screens without regularly dropping out of SFS just to check it out.
