Setting max and min for cage temperature

Hello,

I am hoping you can help me with something. We have started to see ZooMed patients here and we are wondering if there is any way that a max and a min can be added for cage temperature? Is this something we do on our end, or is this something you would need to do?

Thoughts are appreciated.

Thank you!

    Hi everyone!

I'm a little late to this thread involving cage temp, but this is totally something that Smart Flow already has the capability to do!

Simply create a parameter called 'Cage Temperature' in your settings. I would create it as an 'Activity'. Then, be sure to create it with a 'Numeric' picker. This part is crucial. When you create a parameter with a numeric picker, it gives the user the ability to set critical values when they go to use it.

When you put this parameter on your ZooMed/Exotics parameter, be sure to fill in the critical low and high temperatures before you save the template. Then - anytime anyone notes a temp outside the range - you will see the alert!

    See this FAQ: https://forum.smartflowsheet.com/solution/articles/5000359701-how-do-i-change-critical-parameters-

If anyone has any questions, feel free to post here or email me at stacey@smartflowsheet.com

    Cheers!
