The problem is, if I change template, which we would like to do starting at 8am for every emergency admit patient (they are admitted on admission ER, which starts when they are admitted, so say 11pm). If I add a day, and while doing so, change the template to start at 8am the next day, then all the meds are lost. We would like to option of keeping the flowsheet meds and procedures, but also change the template so that tasks are changed to reflect an Icu patient rather than an admission patient. Does that make more sense?
I know I can add a day as a new template however all our meds disappear. When that happens, we have to rebuild them all and that is VERY time consuming. So, everyone has been staying on the admission ER template which is not ideal.
