Ability to save the dosage rate as default Merged

For example, Dextrose 25% is has a dosage that reads " ___ ml/kg" and Dextrose 50%
reads "___ml/dog." Is there any way to change both of those dosage lines to show "___mg/ml"
without having to have dextrose saved on a template? I attempted to
save it on a template and then delete it and resave the template without
it, hoping it would magically keep the dextrose updated the way I want,
but it did not work.
