I had a staff member point out that a number of medications default to a certain administration route and I cannot see how that is set in settings to try and change it. Here are the specifics:
Propofol inj: automatically selects IM
Midazolam inj: automatically selects "in a bag"
Ketamine inj: automatically selects IM
Fentanyl inj: Dosage says mg/kg instead of mcg/kg so we have to manually change it to put in a ml
Ampi/Sulb inj: is set to mg/mg so the only way to enter it is in mg (unlike cefa)
Glyco inj: automatically selects "in a bag"
Atropine inj: automatically selects "in a bag"
Buprenorphine inj: selects oral
Acerpomazine inj: automatically selects "in a bag"
Dexdomitor: automatically selects "in a bag"
These should default to something different - how do we do that?
we have the same problem. There should be a way to change the default once it is set and not have to make a template.

This is how you can currently change these defaults.
This is kind of ridiculous that we don't have the capability to change this. We have the same problem with several medications... I order hydromorphone tablets and it defaults to IV?! This needs to be fixed.
Here's a workaround solution one of our implementors came up with!
