Another Custom Field or Category Field in Patient Info Section

After Hours Veterinary Emergency Centre would like another custom field or a category field in the patient information section. Currently the custom fields are being used for 'categories' for example 1, 2, 3 depending on triage. However, either a field for this- or an additional custom field would be great so that 'discharge times' could be displayed on the whiteboard.

    Thank you for the detailed request and use case.

    We are currently developing several Whiteboard enhancements, including additional sorting options, color customization, and drag-and-drop functionality. As part of this work (including upcoming features), we are also improving how emergency patients can be categorized using standardized triage levels (1–5).

    These updates will allow clinics to track emergency status without relying on custom fields, which should free up those fields for other purposes—such as displaying discharge times on the Whiteboard.
