Please do this, For example Cerenia IV given under Ax Tx sheet, if no one logs that it was given, highly assumed it was not given and given again- it happens all the time

Seems like this is something that everyone wants to see happen and something that is critical to patient care. Is this in the works?

    Yes!!
    Please and about time!

Currently we bill all consumables on the G/A sheet but medications back on the Smartflow treatment sheets. To allow flags to start generating for follow up doses etc.

This would save so much time flicking between the 2 pages so more care and observations can be performed!

Mountain View loves this-- would be way more
"sold" on sf with this functionality because they worry patients will be overdosed.

I work the overnight shift in the surgery department (alone) and only see 1 person who rounds me at the beginning or my shift and the person who I round at the end. I have a lot of problems with meds given with premeds and intraop that are on the anesthesia sheet but not the flow sheet. This causes me to have to search multiple sheets to double check all meds when I come in to my shift at night to make sure meds are given at correct times, repeated when necessary and to avoid over dosing. There was a suggestion at my clinic to have a separate menu on the flow sheet in addition to Monitoring, Activity, Fluid, Medication, and Procedure to have one that says Surgery/Anesthesia so that things from the Anesthesia Sheet and the Anesthesia Records transfer to one place like start/stop times, fluid rates changes, and including critical values like a drop in BP or spike in HR, emergency drugs given, etc so the evening/overnight staff can see at a glance pertinent things from surgery without having to view multiple pages/screens.

As part of the overnight nursing staff, this would be very helpful. We often get very busy surgery days that run particularly late so having all drugs transferred automatically from anesthesia to the treatment sheet would greatly improve accuracy and efficiency of patient care.

We would all love to see that at VSS!

We most certainly would like to show all opioids administered and other drugs given during anesthesia reflected in our treatment sheets without the additional double effort required currently.

    Yes, this isn a must!!

If needing to give an S8 or NSAID drug to an patient under anaesthetic, and then another staff member sees it's 'overdue' on Smartflow and gives it.... try explained that to the QLD vet board!

In emergency situations you do not always have time to check the invoice prior to drug administration.

    This is a must!
