moving patients on the board

We are an emergency hospital that see's pets on a walk in/case by case bases (based on urgency). Our hospital experiences long wait times and clients ask constantly, where they are in line. It would be beneficial if we were able to move patients on our board to reflect who will be seen next, rather than the order they checked in.

I see this is still open for voting? Any comments or ETA from SmartFlow team?

Additionally, I ask the creator of this idea if the workflow is not a suitable option to help reflect wait times and treatment times to clients? My hospital is planning to implement whiteboards in the reception area to tackle this exact dilemma. Maybe others can follow suit of useful or applicable.

A drop and drag option as well as automatic filter listing by most recent triage, admit, etc would be very useful.

We have looked into a queue management software separately but it won't integrate with our PIMS and it would be a HUGE expense as well. This would be a big plus for us as a 24/7 emergency/GP hospital. #1 client complaint is wait time and this could really help with client perception and help them to understand the triage system.

100% agree! We are a surgery center and order changes rapidly and multiple times a day. It would be a great feature if you were able to hold and move patients on a whiteboard, as you would move medications or tasks on a treatment sheet/anesthesia sheet!
