When doctor on duty is updated in SF by the clinician due to shift change or service change for the patient, allow this to feed back via better integration into the Hospital Information System (EzyVet) to update "assignee". At our facility "case owner" in EzyVet is reserved for FACULTY only - with residents/interns managing the case and being primary contact for the patient. We need a way to update one system, and changes to take effect in BOTH areas, instead of having to update two locations, it's redundant for the hospital to have to enter similar information in multiple locations.
